**近一段时间，各地媒体对于飙车行为均有不同程度的报导，据报导一些飙车者甚至以“二环十三郎”等类的绰号为荣。这反映出随着汽车——这一交通工具的普及，原本我们只能在影视片中看到的飙车行为，在我国也逐步浮出水面。笔者有意就此问题在法律上进行一些浅显的分析，以求教于人。
一、“飙车”行为的危害及处理现状。
“飙车”根据汉语大词典的解释是一种方言，意思就是开快车，即超速驾驶。公安部公布的2005年全国交通事故原因统计调查统计数据显示，2005年因超速行驶导致死亡的人数达到16015人；2006年仅11月份，因超速行驶就造成896人死亡，占当月总死亡人数的11.5%，位居各类事故原因**！但这些数据并不包括那些因超速驾驶导致人员受伤、车辆等财产损失的交通事故；这些数据有多少笔者无从得知，但应该不少于因超速驾驶导致死亡的交通事故的数量。
